Sohna is a hill station situated 24 km from Gurgaon city and 56 km from Delhi. Sohna hills is a panoramic beauty health-cum-holiday tourist spot near Damdama Lake, standing atop the Aravalli hills. The name "Sohna" literally means gold in Hindi. The place got this name from the gold dust that was once collected from the sands of streams flowing around it.

One of the major attractions of Sohna is its sulphur springs, said to have medicinal properties.

Damdama Lake - Located at about 8 km from Sohna, it is an exotic location and one of the biggest natural lakes of Haryana. The International Balloon Mela is held here, every November.

The Vintage Car Rally - This rally attracts a great number of tourists here during the month of February.

Other places of interest - a ancient Shiva Temple, a fair is organized every year in the month of November (Gangasnan), a grand fair is also organized during the month of July-August to celebrate the festival of "Teej", a grand park situated on the top of hills.
